What Is The Composition Of The Ceramic Disc Brake Pad?

The Ceramic Disc Brake Pad is also called car brake pad. It refers to the friction material fixed on the brake drum or brake disc that rotates with the wheel. The friction lining and friction pad are subjected to external pressure and generate friction to achieve vehicle deceleration.

Automobile brake pads are generally composed of steel plates, bonded thermal insulation layers and friction blocks. The steel plates are painted to prevent rust. The SMT-4 furnace temperature tracker is used to detect the temperature distribution during the coating process to ensure quality. The insulation layer is composed of a material that does not transfer heat, and is intended to be insulated. The friction block is composed of a friction material and an adhesive, and is pressed against a brake disc or a brake drum to generate friction when braking, thereby achieving the purpose of deceleration and braking of the vehicle. Due to the friction, the friction blocks are gradually worn out, and generally the lower the cost, the faster the brake pads wear. After the friction material is used, the brake pads should be replaced in time, otherwise the steel plate and the brake disc will be in direct contact, eventually losing the braking effect and damaging the brake disc.
